Today’s thought:
God is not the “I will be” God who is only enough when I finally get life right, God is the I AM God!
Right Now! Today!
God says to us “I AM God to you today! He says “Look at Me and repeat after Me – I am Loved; I am forgiven; I am a child of God; I am, not I will be, I AM!”The Helmet of Salvation is an important part of our p…[Read more]

Mikesmiles answered to question Did you ever perform in a talent show? 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Re: Did you ever perform in a talent show?
I don’t believe that I was ever in a “talent show”. I grew up in a small town, and there were school and church plays and competitions of various sorts, but I don’t remember any “talent shows”. O… -

“But even if our gospel is hidden , it is hidden to those who are perishing;
Among them, the god of this world , has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
2 Corinthians chapter 4 explains clearly to us why some people cannot see,…[Read more] -

What does it mean to take the name of the Lord thy God in vain? I started chewing on “taking the Lord’s name in vain” years ago and I was quite surprised where it took me. Picture a sketchy used car sales

The 7 chakras need to be aligned in a specific way to activate the pineal gland. The solar plexus is representation of the manger, the Spine being the tree of life. God lives within us. We are the church. It’s not matter and senses that our eternal selves are God is in you. He said he’ tear down the temple and rebuild it in three days. It’s not a building it’s ourselves our consciousness. The holy Spirit the Father and Son dwell within. Balance yourself and bring the peace of the Lord to your foresight.

I find it interesting that the donkey is the only animal to have a natural “Cross” on it’s back. A dark line of fur running front to back and then a crossing line side to side at it’s shoulders. Jesus willingly got up on the donkey (cross) and then went in and willingly got up onto the cross of sacrifice for us. It is humbling to think of.

Re: Who rules the Church?
Here is that verse in context. When it is read in context, it is not speaking of making rules for the people in the church to follow, but instead it is warning us not to speak poorly of and judge … -

Mikesmiles started the topic What does Lord mean to you? in the forum Bible Study & Theology 10 months, 3 weeks ago
I have been thinking about the term “Lord”.
Over and over again in the old testament we hear of someone calling someone else “lord”. Sometimes it is someone who they do not even know. My favorite is when Sarah called her husband Abraham “lord”. What strikes me is that none of these people were calling the person perfect, or sinless, or all…[Read more] -
