God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!

His friend convinced him to try Fenbendazole. We went to visit him again last weekend. He is very thin, but seems to be slowly (very slowly) improving.
I spoke…-
Thank you for the information. However, I believe the family is thinking of taking Kim to Mexico for some treatment of some kind.

That is wonderful to hear! I am happy that they are not giving up just because their American doctor said there is nothing that they can do! Many different kinds of successful treatments happening in Mexico!

Susanna Wesley (1669-1742), known as the “mother of the Methodist movement”, wrote a letter to her son John in 1725 that defined sin as anything that: Weakens your reason, Impairs your conscience, Obscures your sense of God, Takes away your interest in spiritual things, and Increases the power of your body over your mind.

“Take this rule: whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your conscience, obscures your sense of God, or takes off your relish of spiritual things; in short, whatever increases the strength and authority of your body over your mind, that thing is sin to you, however innocent it may be in itself.”

When using that principle as a lens to understand sin and how it interacts with personal and societal practices, it provides a clear, inward compass for discernment. The question about responding to ungodly practices in society invites reflection on the balance between personal…
