I Believe we can be like Mary and Martha both in our lives.

We can be like Mary by taking time each day whether it be in the morning, afternoon or evening with Jesus. Grab your bible and find a nice quiet place to be with Jesus alone. Read His word, pray and then just relax and listen for His voice as He speaks to you. This is important because it replenishes our souls, bodies and minds so we then can set about doing our daily chores and get done what God has put before us just like Martha.

Jesus also wants you to take care of you because if you let yourself get so worn down and tired it won’t be good for you or anyone else. You can’t fill anyone else’s cup if your cup is dry and empty. Replenish your cup by taking a nap, maybe a nice hot bath with candle light, maybe it’s just finding a nice quiet place to read the bible or listening to soft quiet music. Make Jesus a part of whatever you decide and you will find He will replenish you and strengthen in all the ways you need.
