It always continues to amaze me how God can love us even though we act like untrained, ungrateful, self centered brats at times!

Amen! Me too! I can’t wrap my head around that kind of love or comprehend how Jesus willing laid down life for me and all on this earth. It’s also hard to comprehend how anyone could turn from him, but there will be those who do reject him and i pray many many more will come to Him and take him as Lord and Savior of their lives.

I agree with you completely on this, but the cross shows us the length Jesus went to, to prevent spewing sinners out of His mouth. He didn’t spit out the people who spit on Him. He endured more grief than I can imagine.

Great analogy!
I think of them going out into “dry” country. Think of dessert type land, no cool refreshing water to quench your thirst and nothing to feed upon.
Why go back? Because there was chaos to quench the thirst for excitement and there was sin to feed upon!
Getting our lives (house) all nice and clean and in order is not the goal…-
Amen! I like how you things. It’s so true that our ultimate goal is have The Holy Spirit who dwells in us so there is NO VACANCY for evil, evil thoughts or actions. Praise God for His gif t of the Holy Spirit who guides, protects, teaches and is our guarantee of our salvation and belonging to Jesus.!
