It certainly is finished Rev.Ertell (U.L.C.).
After our King slew death what “enemy” is left? All that remains is for people in this world to believe in the Jewish Messiah who loves all people as His Father in Heaven loves all people and will return in a Light that exposed the secrets of our hearts.
Happy days for many -

I saw a Jewish mother and father on a news report. Their son was murdered as a hostage. As they fought back tears, they said they hoped his death would bring about a cease fire.
This is how we should think about our Lord Jesus, because zech.12:10 says this for the Messiah.
How appropriate is t is to lay down all arms against the One who was…[Read more] -

To do good to others in Jesus’ Name is what drew me to Him. When I saw the care another person (a stranger) had for me, not wanting anything from me except to know the Lord. 🙂 -

The followers of our dear Lord Jesus were made glad because they were being made in the image of Christ. They came to know what the Messiah meant when He said
Love your enemies… That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven…Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect

Act 5:41 – So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

Christ was made. Curse for us Gal.3,13
He was quoting the law which begins…
Deu 21:22 – And ***if a man have committed a sin worthy of death andhe be to be put to death,*** and thou hang him on a tree:21:23 – His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is…

The Son of David (the Messiah) defeated not only the enemy of sinners who are Jewish, but gentiles who are sinners also.
So all mankind and our King Eternal defeated death. -

This is very important because it’s the good news the Jewish Messiah taught to the world…as the scriptures said He would. Jesus just did it in a way the religious elite didn’t expect.

Where did sacrifice for sins in the Bible ever mean God saw His Son as a sinner? Mankind saw Jesus that way, as a guilty man but never our Father.

Correct, the world expected the Messiah to come with power, yet he came in weakness and died knowing he didn’t have too. It’s the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me. I suffer in many many ways but in him do I trust.

It”s a new day. How will I spend the day our Lord has provided? I hope I don’t embarrass you Lord as I often do. Help me dear God not to use profanity. I use it sometimes not even thinking because it’s so ingrained in my culture. It’s no excuse even though I mean no harm by it. Like saying s— for stuff.
When I was about 10, my mom stuck a bar of…[Read more]-
This is not an uncommon struggle, It harms our witnessing, but more then that… The devil will use the guilt and shame of it to bash us about. Don’t let the devil make a pinata of you when you slip up. Your sins are paid for.

I appreciate the sincerity and depth of your reflections on the role of the Messiah. The topics you raise highlight critical aspects of Christian belief and invite meaningful dialogue. Let’s unpack some of the points and examine how scripture supports or challenges them.
