I recalled Jesus spoke in John 14:2; In the house of my Father are many mansions: if it had not been so, I would have told you. I go and prepare a place for you.
Over the years, I had no clue what the heavenly abodes were like until I happened saw some visual illustration on YouTube recently. Those stunning graphics appeared so breathtaking. They are completely different from anything on earth; extremely beautiful and magnificent. They made the 5 star hotels, affluent homes, and the royal palaces looked pale in comparison.
The mansions in heaven may or may not look like that showed in Youtube video. Perhaps, it does give us a general concept that may inspire us about heaven and to look forward to our future home with great anticipation.
The beauty of heavenly realm may make us stand in awe with mesmerization, but our main focus is Jesus Christ who is far worthy to be our Lord and Savior. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The more I pondered this, the larger the question became. A nice house without love is empty and void. A beautiful city without friendship and fellowship and love is cold and unwelcoming. God and Jesus are what makes heaven such a wonderful place to be, it is not the fancy streets, the mansion on a hill, or the perfect health, it is the love of the Father.
So, knowing that Jesus and God (Love) will be there, I am excited to go! I don’t know the details of heaven, but I know the character of Love, and I trust Him that when He says that I will like it, I know deep down that I will LOVE it!
It’s difficult to imagine what a spiritual mansion looks like…this flesh isn’t going to Heaven.
Yes, it’s hard to imagine what the heavenly mansions look like. I am sure heaven is a very beautiful place with a lot of love, relationship and fellowship with God and the believers. We can even interact with the angels, too.
