Galatians 6:1 Brothers, suppose someone is caught doing wrong? You who have the Spirit should set him right, but in a spirit of humility, keeping an eye on yourselves so that you won’t be tempted too.

This is the love of Jesus, that we don’t let others get comfortable in their sin or condone it, but how do we do that? By telling the truth in love and humility.

Once we are saved by Jesus and receive The Holy Spirit we are responsible to go out and present His truth in love and humility remembering that we were once lost in our own sin, but we are never to let anyone get comfortable with or sit in their sin. Jesus himself told the adultress ” go and sin no more.” He didn’t say go and keep on sinning, He said turn from your sins and sin no more.

we are told in Galations 5:13 For brothers, you are called to be free. Only do not let that freedom become an excuse for allowing your old nature to have its way. Instead, serve one another in love.

We were set free by Jesus so we would be free from a life of darkness and sin. We should never use that to make excuses for ourselves or anyone else to keep sinning..Jesus didn’t die so we could keep on in our sin but so we could be redeemed and saved, and we need to tell others this truth in love and humbleness.

    • Nice post.
This world isn’t hearing the gospel our Savior taught. He could have destroyed people who sinned against Him, but showed the world love instead of wrath.

        • Thank you journeyman.

this world has twisted the meaning of Love. A lot of churches would rather preach things that go along with world so they don’t offend anyone, when they need to be preaching the truth of God and what He says in his inerrant word The Holy Bible. There is no compromise in my eyes, a person is either for Jesus or against Him and I believe He states in Revelation to one of the churches that He would rather they were hot or cold but because they were luke warm he will spew them from his mouth. the same goes for us we are either hot or cold there is no luke warm or in between because he will spew from his mouth.

            • I agree with you completely on this, but the cross shows us the length Jesus went to, to prevent spewing sinners out of His mouth. He didn’t spit out the people who spit on Him. He endured more grief than I can imagine.
                • you are very right and I agree completely with what you said and knowing what lengths Jesus went to and suffering that we will never ever be able to comprehend should make us want to share the good news of Jesus and His truth to others all the more. He wasn’t and isn’t willing that any suffer and neither should we be willing either. We share the good news, pray that those who hear it are receptive to it and that God will draw them to Himself. I’ve learned we are the vessels He uses to tell others. We are His hands and feet, but we aren’t the ones who save Jesus is. I can’t even begin to imagine where i’d be without Jesus and what He has done for me, I can live without a lot of things but I cannot live without Jesus for without Him I am lost,
                    • Amen. Paul said, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Phil.3:10 KJV

To continue loving sinners, even when they’re pounding nails into us? Wow!
